One of the Phoenix's fastest growing areas is the Norterra Neighborhood in North Phoenix. It is centered around the Shops at Norterra at Happy Valley Road. Though the planned community technically stops at Jomax to the North, we include communities south of Dove Valley as part of Norterra as well. Buyers have several choices between condos and townhomes at Fireside At Norterra, and the community has a full featured community center that residents love (see photo above). The newest townhomes are in the Union Park master planned community adjacent to the Shops at Norterra. Another favorite is the condos at Desert Village at Sonoran Foothills.
Norterra residents have plenty of shopping and dining at the Shops at Norterra, as well as a movie theater, local coffee shop and a new medical center. Employment is growing here, with several insurance companies and the large Taiwan Semi plant and the suppliers around it.
Over the last 90 days, 13 condos have sold in Norterra Condos and Townhomes. Final sale price ranged from $324,900 up to $500,000 pending possible revisions. The median sale price was $363,000 with a median Price Per Square Foot of $279.
