Living in Downtown Phoenix has been cool for a while, but when the Phoenix light rail system rode into town a few years ago, living in a condo near a light rail stop became downright convenient. Granted, Phoenix was a little slow to embrace the light rail concept. Most big cities, like San Francisco and Denver, had one in place years ago. But, it’s here now and current service runs straight down on Central Avenue and bends into the Chase Field on Jefferson Street and east through Tempe to Mesa.
Residents who live in condos near the Phoenix light rail are enviably close to about 1,700 businesses located along the current 20-mile-track, and that includes bars, restaurants, and entertainment venues. Dine in the iconic Durant’s, or take in a game at the Bank One Ballpark, both just minutes away. You're also an easy ride to Sky Harbor airport, so you don't have to leave a car there and pay the parking fees.
One Lexington is one of our favorite choices on the light rail right now. This highrise is a totally renovated 17-story high rise in mid-town Phoenix located right across the street from the Osborne and Central Avenue light rail station.Residents here enjoy all the amenities of downtown/midtown Phoenix in contemporary surroundings that feature beautiful wood floors, stainless steel appliances, and floor-to-ceiling windows with spectacular views. Live here and you'll not only pocket the extra gas money, you’ll extend the life of your vehicle.
