News > New Townhomes in the Booming North Phoenix Area

The I-17 corridor in North Phoenix is finally filling in, with the introduction of the master planned development of Union Park at Norterra.  Situated around the USAA campus just north of Happy Valley and east of the I-17, Union Park has the potential of contributing over 2000 homes (both multi-family and single family) to the North Phoenix area.  With easy access to Downtown Phoenix and the West Valley via I-17 and the 101, this development is built with the commuter in mind, though builders are touting the local jobs and commercial prospects the community will bring, along with already existing big employers like USAA and Cigna.

Union Park has one of the newest townhome communities in the area - Pinnacle at Union Park.  These 2-story residences make easy-care living really easy, and they also make for one of the least expensive ways to own a home in Union Park.  Priced in the low-$400's, Pinnacle owners won't have to worry about the extra costs of landscaping a front and back yard as well as a larger air conditioning bill a single family home would have.  Pinnacle townhomes have 2400 square foot of interior space, along with  great outdoor spaces that include rooftop patios and spacious private patios off the living space.

But one main advantage of buying at Pinnacle at Union Park is that it is within walking distance to the Post, Union Park's community center.  The Post is a 5500 square foot recreation center, with a conference and event rooms.  Outside is the resort style pool with cabanas, a childrens play pool,  sport court, pickleball courts, playgrounds, lawn areas and more.  Unlike many small townhome communities where residents have to pay up for their own pool, Pinnacle shares the community facility costs across a larger number of residents at Union Park.

And of course, there's the Norterra shopping and dining scene, with theaters, lots of restaurants, and shopping.   Awesome hiking is a short drive away at the Phoenix Sonoran Preserve.

Pricing at Pinnacle at Union Park is somewhat higher than other condos to the north - compare against Desert Village at Sonoran Foothills just a few miles up I-17. However, the square footage is higher, and you're paying for excellent community facilities as well as the bright and shiny new construction.  Inventory is low here - to take a look at what's available at Pinnacle, contact us.
